Version 1.10.5 - 28th October 2021

Merging Attributes Feature: We have added the ability to Merge attributes for better data management. Sometimes you can end up with similar attributes coming from different data sources. For example you might be recording user names as NAME & FIRST NAME. To align your data everywhere in the platform you will want to Merge these two attributes into one. Choose the attribute you want to Merge first as that is the attribute that will be deleted and the data will be merged to the second attribute you choose in the flow.

To start click the Merge Icon on the Attribute Page under the settings tab:

Then select the attributes you will like to merge together:

Please note that will update all feedback and pushes linked to the initial attribute and merge it to the second attribute you choose. So in this scenario the attribute name will be merged to first-name.

When the merging is confirmed you will see a success message like this:

Depending on the amount of data in your account, this merging process can take some time. When completed you will receive an email notification to confirm when your attributes have been merged and this will also be reflected throughout the dashboard.

Updating the Label of an Attribute: Merging two attributes is not always the only solution. Sometimes you want to have the same label shown for different but similar attributes. Let’s say you have 3 attribute called city, village and town all to be shown as location. This could be because these attribute are coming from different data sources but for your analysis you treat them all as location information. Another way is to simply change the label on all three attributes( city, village & town) to Location to show them all as location in the dashboard.

You can do this here by adding a different label to the attribute name:

Keep in mind changing labels is only a visual frontend change and doesn't merge the data in our database. You can always change the labels back to the original name if/when needed.

Follow up Logic updated: Quick note on the email campaign follow ups. We have updated the follow logic so now a follow up will be sent if the user has not responded to any questions in your form and sent based on the days you have set for the follow up. If the user has only responded to just 1 question in your survey, this is considered as feedback received on our side so a follow will not be sent in that case.

SMS & Single Campaign in the Scheduled Campaign List: Another small update is now in the Scheduled Campaign list under the pushes tabs on the insights page you will be able to see single email & SMS campaigns as well as the multi push campaign. We are making even more improvement to this features in the coming weeks.

Sentiment Score added to SR calculation: Finally we have updated the Text Answers Question and made it even more powerful! Using machine learning from our text analysis engine we have added a sentiment score in our text questions which shows you a sentiment score at the bottom of the feedback response like this:

Now with this new update we have added this Sentiment score into the overall Satisfaction Ratio calculation. What this means is that now your text question will be counted in the SR and effect the overall satisfaction score.

This however only happen when the feedback is strongly positive or strongly negative. Positive feedback that is above 80% sentiment score and negative feedback that is below 20% sentiment score.

Lots of more improvements are on their way, so stay tuned !
